Need more info: We need more information but any abdominal pain that is severe warrants an evaluation by a qualified physician. Please see your doctor or go to the er.

Doctor can evaluate: Anyone with "severe stomach pain" should be evaluated by her doctor. The Emergency Room can evaluate severe stomach pain, if the primary care or regular doctor is not able to help right away. Many things are between the belly button and the bottom of the ribs, such as the: liver, gall bladder, stomach, spleen, pancreas, duodenum, transverse colon, abdominal wall muscles, etc...
