Sprained ankle: If you have not seen a doc the first thing to do is make an appointment. Till then brace it with one you buy at a pharmacy, then elevate, ice and take NSAIDs. If you have seen a doc then you need to go back and maybe reassess the diagnosis.

Be seen: If you are still having significant problems 2 weeks after an ankle sprain, you may want to be seen in followup. Some ankle sprains just take longer to get better, but it would be wise to make sure you have not had a more serious injury.
