Can cause pain: Yes it can cause pain in abdomen but will not cause pelvic bone swelling. Just inquisitive why you are asking this question.If you have adult Hirchsprung Disease you should be under care of a physician.Although thickening and massive dilatation of colon occurs in adult Hirchsprung Disease.Only treatment is the surgical removal of the affected part of the colon
