See doctor: Need to tease out whether this is simply getting towards menopause or whether an underlying disorder is present. Suggest appointment with doctor as may need examination, smears, swabs, blood tests and possibly an ultrasound scan

There are many: possibilities as to what is causing this.The sudden change in regularity suggests that you may be entering menopause . The change in amount of bleeding and length of this suggests there may be an abnormality inside your uterus, such as a fibroid , polyp, tumor or an area where the lining is not cleaning out well. Many will become anemic during this too. Need to see a gynecologist
