Urinary tract: The typical symptoms of a lower urinary tract infection ("bladder infection") are increased urinary frequency, an increased degree of urgency to urinate, and pain when urinating (dysuria). Not everyone has every symptom, but a change in urine appearance or smell and one or more of these symptoms raise concern for UTI. Urinalysis is the test to consider to evaluate for an infection.
