No benefits: Recent research has confirmed that cranberry juice, extracts, pills, etc have have no benefit in preventing or curing urinary tract infections. It's not quite quackery, since there are theoretical reasons why cranberry might help. But the new research seems conclusive: it doesn't work. If cranberry juice tastes good, have as much as you like. But don't waste money to prevent infection.
