Yeast Infection: Antibiotics taken orally go everywhere in body. the can mess up the normal equilibrium and cause overgrowth of bacteria in the gut (infectious diarrhea) and of yeast in the vagina. Basically, you have a vaginal yeast infection from you antibiotics. Can be treated by 1 Diflucan 150 mg pills or a week of Vaginally applied cream (OTC). Most women want the pill because of ease of use.
