Herpes zoster, MRSA: Sounds like your shingles rash has become infected with MRSA. If you're on an antibiotic for MRSA and it's starting to improve or not getting worse, just hang in there; it can take several days to clear up. Are you also on anti-shingles treatment, e.g. valacyclovir? If high fever or getting worse, call your doctor's office; another doctor will be covering for her. Good luck!
