Yes. Idiopathic.: Everyone is different, & some people may naturally develop a 11 mm bile duct. While 11 mm seems rather large, if you've never had symptoms of gallstones (abdominal pain, problems with digestion of fatty foods) or signs of a liver tumor (wt loss, jaundice, etc.) then "being born this way" is the most likely explanation for the size of the bile duct.
