Get consult: If you have chronic lung disease or sleep apnea this is no surprise and is okay, ask about treatment. I trust you do not have a cardiac birth defect -- you'd know. If you have always had this, you may have a high affinity hemoglobin. Otherwise think about a hematology consult to rule out polycythemia Vera.
