Tachycardia- depends: The big question to us as physicians is whether or not this is truly a normal type of rhythm or something else. First off, further history is most improtant, such as presence of symptoms, exercise habits, weight, nourishment, medications, pregnancy status. Then physical exam to look for some conditions such as thyroid, hyperactive bone disease, etc.. A strongly recommend an EKG if never had.
