Cause of high BP: It may not be clear why your BP is so high. Most patients have essential hbp which is caused by non-identifiable causes, others have secondary hbp, caused by a renal artery stenosis or conn's syndrome. If you have any risk factors such as high lipids. Smoking and obesity, losing weight off will help lower your bp. See a doctor and get started on some BP meds asap, as you BP is quite high.
