Low iron : Iron can be replaced in form of iron rich food , oral tablets , liquid iron syrup or iron injection. Intravenous iron infusion into blood vessels raises iron immediately but it carries risk of allergic reaction etc. Mode of replacement can be chosen based on individual preference , medical problems etc . Important thing is to fix the reason for low iron . Please do consult with your doctor ..
