Getting more iron: You can get iron (i) from many foods. You need to rule out a loss of iron to account for your low i saturation, unless you eat a diet low in i. If not, see a doctor to discuss the reason you have such a low i saturation. Good luck.

Not everyone gets: Side effects. You should not have a negative mind set of meds prior to taking them. Putting them in the freezer and taking iron with food helps. Try it. If it does not work there is an IV form.
