A member asked:

My doctor said my angioedema was caused by taking lisinopril. but, i have been off of it for 3 months and still have intermittent angioedema episodes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Other causes: Angioedema is one of the most common and scary side effects of lisinopril and other ACE inhibitors(BP meds ending in -ril). Thousands of other things can also cause angioedema. Without knowing the rest of your medical history I cannot be more specific. The original lisinopril should be out of your system
