Good idea: Sympathetic blocks are one of the most effective ways to treat and diagnose CRPS. This is an outpatient, minimally invasive, and fairly safe procedure. You could have injury to the organs near where the injections should be done like the bowels, muscles, and nerves. But the likelihood of this occurring is much much less than you getting hurt let's say in car accident.
