No. Watch for sepsis: Hi, no- any fluid leaking out is not going to cause you any harm. Keep an eye out for infection though as these bursae can become infected- redness, pain, increased swelling, pus like fluid and feeling unwell (fevers, shakes etc) are all signs of infection. If you have any of these see your Doctor. Hope things settle soon.

Doubt it but need mo: I doubt it but where is the true location of the bursa. Was it ever drained or aspirated? Unclear the reason for surgery. Had it ever popped before? you can discuss this with your physician.
