Don't put in eyes: Yes, the crying is likely due to eye irritation from the product. Makeup remover is not meant to be put in eyes. It's okay to use on the skin on your face and around your eyes, but not in the eyes themselves! To remove eye makeup, try putting a small amount of remover on a damp washcloth, and carefully and gently using a small portion of the washcloth on your skin only.
