Maybe!: Type 2 diabetes is a disorder in sugar metabolism. Oranges have a lot of natural sugars, which you would think fruit is good for you. But, if you have a disorder of sugar metabolism, it is not good. However, if your diabetes is mild and under good control, you may be able to have an orange (or 1/2 an orange). It also may be better to balance it with some protein at the same time.
