Possible: Skinny people can have more prominent thyroid gland. get it checked by your doctor and get TSH, T3,T4 done. It is important to review with your doctor for an examination and review.

However!: Given the age,, if you feel that the Thyroid is getting bigger than usual, please get it checked with your doctor soon, as it might indicate a disease of the thyroid that should not be missed. If assessment and investigations are all good, then we can assume that the enlarged thyroid gland is relative to the thin neck

Thyroid exam: 62 F Could having a very thin neck cause a thyroid to feel enlarged when it really isn't. ANS: an enlarged thyroid is how big it is when one feels it carefully. Nothing to do with a think neck. Might be able to see if we did video consult.
