A member asked:

I am currently taking prenatals. i usually have an irregular period ranging from about 31-32 days a cycle. could these prenatals be delaying my period?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unlikely: The pre-natal vitamins are an unlikely cause of the irregular periods. It is good that you are planning ahead and taking pre-natals. Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor.
