A member asked:

Can irregular eating patterns, stress, cause my 17-year old gf to have her periods delayed? is that okay? her normal cycle is 28-29 days, it's 35 days since her last period. she's had normal periods for the past 2 months, and no intercourse recently?

Yes, delayed period is common for a teenage. If there was no sexual contact in the previous month, nothing to be concerned. It is not unusual if she even skips one cycle. If there was sexual contact in the last three weeks, she can do a pregnancy test with an early morning urine sample.
