A member asked:

Do ipills make your periods irregular? had sex nd took the ipill then i got my periods twice in that month but now when the next month started! i m unable to get my periods why is this ,its been delayed by 5-6 days?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If an "ipill" is the "morning after pill", it is not 100% effective as a contraceptive, and you will see bleeding a few days later from withdrawal from the estrogen contained in the "ipill". A genuine "period" would follow, implying that you are not pregnant, but obtain a serum HCG test to be certain about pregnancy.
