Started birth control about 4 months ago, since then i've been menstrating 2x a month almost a week apart. i've also been having very bad cramps.

Different pill: Please discuss it with the doctor who prescribed the BC pills. You may need to switch to a different preparation. Please note preparations are available that would limit the period/bleeding to every three months or even once a year. Wish you good health and a happy new year!

MayNeedChangeOfPills: I will advice that you discuss your concern with your Gynecologist or prescribing Doctor.We don't know which pills you are on as there are pills with different combinations and you may need to switch to a different pill then the one you are taking
