Yes: It is very common to have side effects while on prednisone. Headaches are just one of the many side effects possible. Try taking tylenol (acetaminophen) and Ibuprofen to minimize your symptoms.

Yes: This is especially true with the higher doses. Prednisone can cause headaches by increasing blood pressure or by causing a condition known as pseudotumor cerebri. The headaches resolves after the med is stopped.
