Was put on buspirone 7.5mg twice a day for anxiety and was wondering if you can drink alcohol in moderation on this medication no driving obviously?

Ask doctor/pharmacy: Depends on what you mean by moderation, and depends on whether alcohol has been problematic for you in the past. Alcohol use can be a cause of anxiety, or can often be a dysfunctional response to anxiety. It also can worsen gastritis and even be a cause of GI bleeding. This should be something you discuss with the prescribing physician and/or your pharmacist. An single social drink ok, more not
