A member asked:

I'm having a pain that feels like growing pains in both my arms, but will occur anywhere. it's uncomfortable,i want to rub it out but it doesn't help?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Arm pains: Bilateral arm pains may be due to muscle inflammation or neuritis or possible fibromyalgia. Nerve impingement caused by spurs or disc disease would be unlikely to occur on both sides. If the discomfort is localized to the joints, arthritis or tendonitis are possibilities. I recommend that you consult a rheumatologist and appropriate tests and possible referral to a neurologist will be ordered.
