What you are: describing ispretty classical for the beat FOLLOWING a extrasystole (ectopic beat) The ectopis beat depolarizes the heart and it FILLS for a longer period of time so that the next REGULAR beat occurs with a larger volume of blood in the heart resulting in the "THUD" NOT TO WORRY..a very common arrythmia!
