Many cause: Hi. There are many possible causes. Common ones are illnesses like the flu and after exercise. Injury or trauma including sprains and strains Overuse: using a muscle too much, too soon, too often Tension or stress Muscle pain may also be due to: Certain drugs, Electrolyte imbalance. Do you have muscle aches? How long have you had them for?

There are: many causes..the most common, hose aches the day after we exert the muscles are due to bery tiny microscopic collections of red blood cells (bruising) Fever can cause such microscopic bleeding as well as exercise. Finally actual muscle tissue inflammation (myositis)occurs with many disorders. Hope this is helpful DrZ
