Backwards: Thrush can cause bad breath, not the other way around. Thrush usually occurs after a lot of antibiotics that have killed off the bacteria that normally live in your mouth. Probiotics help avoid it, anti-fungal medicine can cure it. First, see your doctor to make sure the diagnosis is correct, then s/he can help you get rid of it, and help you make sure there is no other cause.
