Low HR on Tenormin (atenolol): Nope. That is very common. If you are not short of breath, not dizzy and able to accomplish your daily activities then yes it is fine.

Heart rate is not to: In young individuas like yourself, teh heart rate does tend to be a little lower normally. Therefore a heart rate of 50 is not unusal and is not considered problematic unless you have symptoms like profound dizziness or feeling of passing out.
