I have been running a fever, coughing, runny nose, sore throat, chest congestion, and diarrhea. i need to know if i need to go to the hospital or not?

Flu symptoms: If your fever persists above 101 degrees , you should go to an urgent care center, and get tested for a Streptococcal throat infection. Take over the counter decongestants and drink lots of liquids. If your fever persists , see your healthcare provider.

Depends...: Whether you should go to the hospital depends on how severe your symptoms are and how sick you feel. For example, how high is the fever? If you are having any shortness of breath you should go to the ER. If the diarrhea is so severe that you feel dehydrated, go to the ER. You can also call your family practice doctor to help make this decision. Good luck!! Hope you feel better soon!!
