MAO or SSRi?: Is lamotrigine an maoi or an ssri? ANS: Neither. It is generally accepted to be a member of the sodium channel blocking class of antiepileptic drugs. I recommend using Epocrates or Drugs.com to look up meds or ever wikipedia.
