I have allergies, i'm alright most hair dogs, like maltese. the dog i wsant is maltese/cocker spaniel mix. would that be an issue?

Likely yes: There is no such thing as a hypoallergenic dog despite what you may be told. The allergenicity of a dog mostly depends on the size and the amount of saliva the dog drools out. The larger the size , the higher amount of dander and saliva. If you must have a dog, consult an allergist to see if allergy shots would help before getting one.
