Someone i know has been on this medication and dosage was changed a month ago. they are beginning to forget things and have become disconnected.

Forgetful: This MAY or MAY NOT be related to the medication your friend is on but he/she needs to see her doctor and report these symptoms. The doc may adjust medication. If not medication related, it may be simple age associated memory loss or from stress. Please do not presume Alzheimers. You are a good friend. Peace and good health.

Possible: Many medications can cause mental status changes. The timing of your friend's changes should make one suspicious of the medicine. Without more specific info, I cannot really have a more firm opinion.
