See below : Blood in either the urine or from the penis is never "normal" and not related to the speed of one's urine flow. Blood coming from the penis usually is from the prostate area and somewhat analogous to a nosebleed and often related to straining or exertional activity. Any episode of blood in the urine or from the penis should be evaluated by a urologist to rule out more significant pathology.
