Is it normal for feet to turn purple when i've been sitting on them for a while? they get colour back quite quickly when i walk about

If you have your: feet folded underneath you with your knees bent it will impede the normal flow of venous blood back to your body. This will result in pooling of venous blood in your feet and they will turn blue/purple. When you start walking normal flow is returned and the blood and color will return to normal. This is normal physiology.
