Ive been scratching my eye a lot today and felt like something was in it&noticed that a vain on the white part of my eye was red should i be concerned?

Irritation. : The visibility and prominence of that vessel may merely represent irritation, either from an object thereupon or from your scratching. But if this sensation persists or worsens you should get to an eye doctor for a real look-see. Maybe by this afternoon.
