While taking out my contacts i scratched a part of my eye creating a small red dot it hurt at the time but i feel no pain now should i be okay to put?

Probably : As long as you have felt resolution of your discomfort and no change in vision, you probably have done nothing more than pinched and broke a small blood vessel on your conjunctiva, resulting in a red dot (bruise). This will generally resolve in a week. But, any problems, have your eye doc check your eyes.
