There are no: interactions between azithromycin and ethanol. Of course it would be advisable to use moderation so that you don't put too much of a stress on your body in general. It is already fighting off whatever the azithromycin was prescribed for, why make it harder on yourself?

Yes & no: Alcohol does not adversely affect effectiveness of Azythromycin. Temporary liver damage, however, has been noted in some people. Also, alcohol consumption interferes with your body's ability to heal itself.
