Drowsy drowsy: There are several medications which can be used to prevent seasickness, but unfortunately many of them do cause drowsiness, such as promethazine, cyclizine, scopolamine and others. There is a prescription anti-nausea tablet called ondansetron which does not cause as much drowsiness, but isn't necessarily the best for prevention of seasickness. Dramamine works but has more side-effects.

SURE: The scopolamine can e used safely in a 15yo and 17yo. Mostly the meds are based on weight, so assuming your 15 and 17 yo are "normal weights for their age, the meds would be fine. Best wishes.
