Some medications: require monitoring and others don't. When the doctor gives you an antibiotic for an infection does he monitor the drug level? No. He knows the dose is effective because the infection goes away. When we use Eliquis to protect you from stroke we know it works from scientific study demonstrating it is efficacious compared to Coumadin. No monitoring of levels is needed. We have proven it works.
