My ear is swollen, red, and has lots of small bumps. how do i treat it? and is it dangerous?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

? furuncles: Furuncles are small abscesses that can happen in the external ear , and if they are multiple you need probably oral antibiotics -a course in addition to NSAID- like motrin .The infection some times can involving the cartilage of the ears when treatment becomes complicated ,even needing some incision and drainage of the abscess. See your PCP and get their opinion
