Questionable C. diff: These seems quite unusual, because C. diff is characterized by LOADS of diarrhea. I wonder if you are eating and drinking? Also if you have abdominal pain or fevers - which would mean you need to see a doctor right away. Rarely C. diff can cause an 'ileus' but seems unlikely. If you want to try the laxative, that would be fine - there shouldn't be any interaction with the metronidazole you're on.
