Thyroid cancer: 40 F notes: Thyroid removed 2yrs ago bc thy cancer. Now having a lot of neck pain. New U/S shows enlarged lymph node with loss of fatty hilum. Can cancer be back? ANS: yes it COULD be but only your Dr can tell you. Depends on type of cancer it was, what the path report said, your family hx of thyroid cancer and many other things. Ask your team.
