Std: When you have one STD , you are at risk of getting another one or two since the presence of STD points to unsafe sexual practice.

A couple ways: First, the behaviors that put people at risk for STIs increase the risk for both HIV and HSV (herpes simplex). If you have sex with them you may be exposed to both infections. Second, if you have an open sore from herpes it makes it more likely that if you get exposed to HIV it will be able to infect you through the open sore.
