Molds?: Do you mean hypersensitivity pneumonitis which can be caused by an immune reaction to molds or an occupational exposure? Allergy otherwise does not cause pneumonia. If the pneumonia is not caused by a virus or bacteria, it is not transmitted to another person. But if you are also exposed to the same environment, your risk of developing pneumonitis is somewhat higher
