Normal increase: His heart rate is slightly high. If he has a cold or a fever his heart rate can increase and that would make it normal. Keep him well hydrated by drinking lots of fluids, if he has a fever use Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen and that would help with the fever and decrease the heart rate.
