I have been on anti-depressants for 4 months and have missed my period twice. is this normal? (i took a pregnancy test that was negative)

Maybe: Being on the antidepressants may have nothing to do with your cycles. occasionally they will temporarily cause a disruption, but after 4 months I suspect the change in cycles may be due to other factors. Stress is a well known disruptor of cycles so if that is still present it may be a factor.

Many causes: Hi LMichel, Seems that your periods are irregular as opposed to having stopped. Typically we get concerned if you haven't had them for 3 months or more. Depression, weight changes, anorexia, high stress can all lead to hormone changes leading to period changes. Your doctor might check Prolactin as meds sometimes raise that which leads to period problems. There are many other potential causes though
