Hard to say: Plan B works better the sooner after sex that you take it. 48 hours is not optimal, it would have been better to take it just after the unprotected sex. The longer you wait the less chance it has of preventing pregnancy. You will need to take a pregnancy test if you miss a period. Consider using a more reliable form of birth control.
